Do you live with chronic pain, used to, or care for someone who does? Do you like to help others and are comfortable speaking in front of small groups? If so, we have a great opportunity for you.
We are holding training sessions to become a Peer Leader in the Stanford Chronic Pain Self-Management Program. As a peer leader you would teach our 6-week Living Well with Chronic Pain workshops in our region.
If you review and agree to the expectations and requirements listed in our Peer Leader Agreement Form that you will need to sign after training, we will cover your training costs. We cover the cost of tuition and materials and can also cover the cost of travel and accommodation, if needed* (train, bus or $0.50/km if using your own vehicle, and parking). All original receipts are required for reimbursement (*cost of accomodation, train or bus tickets, or anything else not explicitly listed need to be pre-approved).
