This workshop has 6 remaining seat(s).
PLEASE NOTE: This workshop was originally supposed to start on January 14, but is now starting January 28 instead.
This is a 6 week class, once a week on Thursdays from 1:30pm to 4:00pm, from January 28 to March 4.
Plus a 15-30 minute Zoom Meeting orientation session on Tuesday, January 26 at 1:00pm (session is obligatory if you are not familiar with Zoom, and highly recommended even if you are). If you are not able to make the time, an alternate one-on-one orientation session can be scheduled by contacting Danielle at 613-484-8072 or email@example.com.
Because of the way that we are funded, priority will be given to those living in Southeastern Ontario. About a week or two before the workshop starts, any leftover seats will then be available to those who live elsewhere.
This workshop will be offered via Zoom Meeting. You will need to download the software, but it is free and you do not need an account. You do not need to share your video, but it is highly recommended that you do in order to keep the full feel and benefit of a group setting.
Caring for a family member or friend with a health condition can be physically, emotionally, and financially challenging. This free, six-week workshop is an educational program designed to help family caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a relative or friend, whether they are helping a parent, spouse, friend, someone who lives at home, in a nursing home, or across the country.
Class participants are given The Caregiver Helpbook to accompany the class and provide additional caregiver resources.
