Join us to learn practical ways to regulate your emotions through psychoeducation and mindfulness practice.

Join us for mindfulness skills!

This is a 5-week online workshop, August 1 to 29, from 1:30 to 4:00pm EST. Please note that only residents from Southeast Ontario will be admitted.

This workshop introduces those living with anxiety, depression, pain etc. to techniques that they can build upon over the four sessions to gradually feel more balanced and present in their lives. The idea behind MAST is to teach short, tolerable practices that get easier over time and help calm the nervous system.

The workshop is open to anyone who believes that they could benefit from these techniques.

Many topics are covered, such as:

  • mindfulness skills
  • emotional regulation
  • stress and mindfulness
  • skills for emotional balance
  • understanding how our brains function when in distress
  • survival mode and the window of tolerance
  • how to stay safe when in distress
